Roger Downs Obituary

Roger Downs, 55, of Bardstown, passed away Thursday April 12, 2018 at Flaget Memorial Hospital. He was born September 29, 1962 in Bardstown. He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, and spending time with family, a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church, and St. Thomas Men’s Club.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Mike Downs.

He is survived by his wife, Prudie Downs; two sons, Brandon Downs, Zacary Downs both of Bardstown; parents, C.A and Dorothy Downs of Bardstown; two brothers, Charlie (Kathy) Downs, Scott (Ann) Downs of Bardstown; sister, Jennifer (Tommy) Berry of Bloomfield; and many nieces and nephews.

His Funeral Mass will be 11:00 am Tuesday April 17, 2018 at St. Thomas Catholic Church, with burial in St. Thomas Cemetery. Rev. Ben Brown will officiate. Visitation will be 3 to 8 pm Monday April 16, 2018 and 8 to 10:15 am Tuesday April 17, 2018 at Barlow Funeral Home.
