Robert Eugene Hutchison

Robert Eugene Hutchison, 79, of Bardstown died Thursday, January 4, 2018 at his residence. He was born February 8, 1938 in Jefferson Co. He was retired from Barton’s Distillery where he worked security, and he was the owner and operator of Rockys.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John Parker & Frances Ann Hutchison; and brother, John Hutchison.

He is survived by his longtime companion of 37 years, Ann Downs; children, Robert Hutchison, Joseph M. (Lisa) Hutchison, Gail (Dan) Waits, Todd Downs, Larry Downs; grandchildren, Angela Hutchison, Corey Waits, Kerri Hutchison; great-grandson, Andrew Hutchison; sister, Emma Gerrity Hutchison; and numerous nieces and nephews.

His funeral service will be 2:00 pm Sunday, January 7, 2018 at Barlow Funeral Home with burial in St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery. Bro. Dan Waits will officiate. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm Sunday, January 7, 2108 at Barlow Funeral Home.
