Joyce Pyle

Joyce Pyle, 78, died Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at her residence.  She was born September 8, 1939 in New Haven.  She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, worked as a secretary for John Talbott for 18 years and worked for Nelson Circuit Clerks Office for 20 years.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jim Pyle; parents, Thomas Chester and Mary Taylor; and brother, Othel Taylor.

She is survived by a daughter, Jan Lee of Bardstown; son, Neal Pyle (Denise) of Cox’s Creek; four grandchildren, Dustin Lee (Hillary), Ernie Pyle, Darren Lee (Hannah), and John Casey Pyle; three great-grandchildren, Bentley Pyle, Colton Lee and Zoe Lee; sister, Celeste Williamson (Sam) of Bardstown; two brothers, Leslie Taylor (Ann) of Mt. Washington, and Steve Taylor (Tobee) of Lebanon Junction; and several nieces and nephews.

Her funeral service was held at 12:00 pm Friday, January 26, 2018 at Barlow Funeral Home with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery.  Rev. Terry Bradshaw officiated.
