Jason Wimsatt

Jason Wimsatt, 28, of Bardstown died Friday May 5, 2017 at Flaget Memorial Hospital.  He was born April 4, 1989 in Louisville. He was a sales manager for Cars and Truck Magazine, a member of Nelson Christian Church and he had a passion for helping people, music, a contagious laugh, and his bear hugs.

He is preceded in death by his mother Carole D. Wimsatt; paternal grandparents, Arthur and Gladys Wimsatt.

He is survived by his father and step-mother, Mike (Debbie) Wimsatt; two brothers, Christopher “Chris” Wimsatt and Dylan (Alyssa LeFair) Wimsatt all of Bardstown; two step-brothers, Jeremy Reinle of Riley, North Carolina and Corey Reinle of Louisville; maternal grandmother, Barbara D. (Jim) Young of Bardstown and maternal grandfather, Eugene P. Drake of Bardstown.

His funeral will be 11:00 am Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at Barlow Funeral Home with burial in Big Springs Cemetery.  Visitation will be 3 to 8 pm Tuesday, May 9, 2017 and 9 to 11 am Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at Barlow Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may go to Drug Rehab Treatment Centers.
