Ivo M. Mudd

Ivo M. Mudd, 85, of Bardstown, passed away Friday November 10, 2017 at his residence.  He was born August 6, 1932 in Nelson County, retired from Heaven Hill Distillery, United States Navy Veteran of the Korean War, and an avid U of K fan.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lou Ritchie Mudd; parents, James and Emma Mudd; special parents, Hubert and Mildred Breeden; two brothers, A. V. Mudd and Junior Breeden; and three sisters, Lona Dadisman Jones, Boneva McClure, and Carolyn Trent.

He is survived by seven children, Diane Clark of Bardstown, Jimmy (Marcie) Mudd of Mascoutah, Illinois, Debbie Green, and Ivo M. (Paula) Mudd Jr. both of Bardstown, Donna (Barry) Gentry of Mt. Washington, Denise (Robbie) Millsap, and Dana (Mike) Roby both of Bardstown; sixteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; ten siblings, Anna Vittitow, Emmett Mudd, Buddy Breeden, Billy Breeden, Gary Breeden, John Breeden, Sissy Goodpaster, Millie Bowman, Peggy Borland, and Debbie Ingram; and several nieces and nephews.

His funeral service will be 11:00 am Tuesday November 14, 2017 at Barlow Funeral Home, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens in Mt. Washington.  Visitation will be 3 to 8 pm Monday November 13 and 9 to 11 am Tuesday November 14 at Barlow Funeral Home.
