Herman Barber

Herman Barber, 61 of Bardstown died Monday, July 10, 2017 at his residence.  He was born July 10, 1956 in Lebanon.  He was employed at Johnan America Inc. and a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Betty Ann Barber; and a brother, James Robert Barber Jr.

He is survived by his wife, Cindy Barber of Bardstown; two daughters, Carolyn (Joseph) Milburn of Springfield and Kelsey Barber of Lexington; three grandchildren, Marissa, Vanessa and Dustin; father, Bob (Shirley) Barber Sr. of Springfield; three sisters, Betty Hamilton of Springfield, Rochelle (Bob) Copeland of Plainfield, IN, and Jackie (Wayne) Spalding of Bardstown; brother, Paul Barber of Louisville; sister-in-law, Dolly Barber of San Diego, CA; several nieces and nephews.

His funeral service will be 11:00 am Thursday, July 13, 2017 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with burial in Holy Trinity Cemetery.  Rev. Jason Harris will officiate and Rev. Gary Young will assist.  Visitation will be 3 to 8 pm Wednesday, July 12, 2017 and 9 to 10:15 am Thursday, July 13, 2017 at Barlow Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may go to Hospice of Nelson County.
