Glenna Marie Jones Hornback

Glenna Marie Jones Hornback, 77, of Bardstown, passed away Saturday September 2, 2017 at Signature Health Care of Hart County in Horse Cave.  She was born December 18, 1939 in Greenville, Kentucky, a registered nurse as a Major in the United States Army Mash for 8 years, retired from VA Medical Center in Louisville in 1994, member of Walnut Street Baptist Church since 1967, and Parkway Baptist Church since 2010.

She is survived by her husband, Dr. Wendell H. Hornback of Bardstown; step-son, David N. (DaVonna) Hornback; two step-grandsons, Rev. Nathan Houston (Taylor) Hornback, and Caleb D. (Nicole) Hornback all three of Dayton, Ohio; and two sisters, Doris Jean Turner of Chicago, Illinois, and Melba Wheat of Glasgow, Kentucky.

Her funeral service will be 11:00 am Thursday September 7, 2017 at Barlow Funeral Home, with burial in Bardstown Cemetery.  Rev. Nathan Houston Hornback will officiate.  Visitation will be 4 to 8 pm Wednesday September 6 and 9 to 11 am Thursday September 7 at Barlow Funeral Home.
