Eugene Lewis, 64, of Cox’s Creek, passed away Wednesday October 25, 2017 at Baptist Health in Louisville. He was born May 9, 1953 in Taylorsville, a retired farmer and truck driver, and a member of Mill Creek Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marshall and Beulah Lewis.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Kathy Lewis; daughter, Raina Lewis; son, William Lewis all of Cox’s Creek; eight grandchildren; three brothers, Roy Lewis, and Earl Lewis both of Bardstown, and John Lewis of Bloomfield; and two sisters, Roseann Adcock of Taylorsville, and Theresa Mae Hilbert of Wakefield.
His funeral service will be 11:00 am Monday October 30, 2017 at Mill Creek Baptist Church, with burial in Highview Cemetery in Chaplin. Brother Ray Johnson will officiate. Visitation will be Noon to 5 pm Sunday October 29 and 9 to 10:15 am Monday October 30 at Barlow Funeral Home.
