Else Land, 75, of Bardstown, passed away Saturday September 2, 2017 at her residence. She was born January 24, 1942 in Germany.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Land; parents, Ludwig and Wilhelmine Mair; and two brothers, Werener Mair, and Anthony Mair.
She is survived by her two daughters, Michelle Lovvorn, and Lenora (Timothy) Burke; two grandchildren, Caylen Lovvorn, and Trenton Lovvorn; step-son, Staff Sargent Timothy Burke II; two great-grandchildren, Cayden Lovvorn, and Karsyn Lovvorn all of Bardstown; sister, Mina Heisig; and several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral service will be 11:00 am Wednesday September 6, 2017 at Barlow Funeral Home, with burial in Bardstown Cemetery. Rev. Rodney Lynch will officiate. Visitation will be 3 to 8 pm Tuesday September 5 and 9 to 11 am Wednesday September 6 at Barlow Funeral Home.
