Dixie Breeding

Dixie Breeding, 98, of Cox’s Creek, passed away Sunday July 16, 2017 at Baptist Health of Louisville.  She was born April 5, 1919 in Van, Ky., a loving wife and mother, and enjoyed gardening and working with flowers.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Monroe Breeding; parents, Gus Adams and Arminda Adams Sergent; two brothers, Kenny Adams, and Hubert Adams; and two sisters, Vada Boyd, and Goldie Morton.

She is survived by her daughter, Jevetta Breeding; son, Gus Breeding both of Cox’s Creek; brother, Clayton Adams of Fort Wayne, Indiana; two sisters, Eulamae Stevens of New Haven, Indiana, and Burnidean Humbarger of Tavares, Florida; and several nieces and nephews.

Her funeral service will be 1:00 pm Wednesday July 19, 2017 at Barlow Funeral Home, with burial in Bardstown Cemetery.  Rev. William “Pete” Johnson, and Rev. Rodney Lynch will officiate.  Visitation will be 8:30 am to 1 pm Wednesday July 19 at Barlow Funeral Home.
