Delores Jean Calbert

Delores (Lodie) Calbert, 68, of Bardstown, died peacefully Tuesday, January 16,2018 at Bardstown Nursing Rehabilitation.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was a lifelong member of Second Baptist Church of Fairfield. She was born November 5, 1949 in Indianapolis, IN.

She was the daughter of the late Joseph A. Wells Sr. “Joe” and Eureth A. Lewis Wells “Sis”. She was preceded in death by one brother, Joseph A. Wells Jr. “Pluck”.

She is survived by her son, Prentiss Calbert “P.J”; daughter, Farrah Calbert; four brothers, William Vonzel Wells, Tony Wells, both of Bardstown, Danny (Patricia) Wells of Louisville, Glenn Wells of Bloomfield; five sisters, Dorothy Mae Gilbert, Linda (Kenny) McMakin, Doretta (Phillip) Lydian all of Bardstown, Diana (Charles) Downs, Sandra Lee both of Louisville; two grandchildren , Jamicia Calbert, Caden Traynor; one uncle, Frances Smith Lewis; three aunts, Eleanor Lewis, Lenora Lewis, Jo Evelyn Lewis; with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Her funeral service will be 1:00 pm Friday, January 19, 2018 at the Second Baptist Church of Fairfield with burial in Bardstown Cemetery. Rev. Dr. Calvin R. Holloway officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm Friday, January 19, 2018 at Second Baptist Church of Fairfield.
